Questions people ask before they order
How long does the Beaconsfield Ottoman take to arrive?
About 18 weeks when the fabric you choose is one we hold in stock. Nothing is built until you order it, so most of the wait is the making: the next production run for this style, about seven weeks in the workshop, then about four weeks to deliver it into your room. If the fabric you pick is on order, the page tells you before you buy and by how much.
How much does the Beaconsfield Ottoman cost?
From $860. The fabric you choose sets the final price, because every fabric sits in a grade and the grade is the price band. The price on this page updates the moment you choose one.
Can I see the fabric before I order?
Yes, and you should. Order up to 3 free swatches, look at them in the room the piece is going in and at different times of day, then come back and choose. Nobody should buy several thousand dollars of upholstery from a photograph on a screen.
Is delivery included?
Yes. White glove delivery is in the price: two people bring it into the room you want it in, unpack it, do the light assembly and take the packaging away. Check your postal code on this page first, because free delivery does not cover every area.
Where is the Beaconsfield Ottoman made?
It is built to your order in Canada, in our workshop in Vancouver. Not everything we sell is Canadian made, so the pieces that are carry a Made in Canada tag. This one does.
Can I change my mind after ordering?
You have 48 hours. We hold every order for two days before it goes to the workshop, and cancelling in that window costs a $150 administration fee. After that the piece is being built to your specification and the order cannot be cancelled. That is exactly why the swatches are free, and why we would rather you took a few weeks over the decision.
What warranty does the Beaconsfield Ottoman have?
The frame, springs and seat foam carry a lifetime (25 year) pro-rated warranty. Mattresses and mechanisms carry 3 years pro-rated, and exposed wood and the upholstery fabric carry 1 year.
